1. Regularly check the condition of seals
The pneumatic-hydraulic cylinder achieves pressure conversion through high-precision sealing. Vulnerable parts such as oil seals and O-rings need to be inspected every 3-6 months. If hydraulic oil leakage or sluggish action is detected, the sealing components should be replaced promptly to avoid internal contamination or pressure decay.
Second, keep the medium clean
Be sure to use clean compressed air (it is recommended to equip with a three-stage filter) and ISO VG68 anti-wear hydraulic oil. Impurities entering the cylinder will accelerate piston wear and may even cause it to seize. It is recommended to replace the hydraulic oil every 500 working hours.
III. Avoid overload and high-frequency operation under no-load conditions
Although the Sentuo booster cylinder possesses high reliability, continuous operation at the maximum boost ratio for an extended period can exacerbate component fatigue. Additionally, frequent starts and stops under no-load conditions can also shorten the lifespan of the solenoid valve. It is recommended to select the model reasonably according to actual needs, leaving a 10%–15% margin.
IV. Winter antifreeze and shutdown protection
Users in the north should pay attention to the increase in viscosity of hydraulic oil in low temperature environments, and install heating devices when necessary. If the equipment is not used for more than a week, the residual pressure in the pipeline should be drained, and anti-rust oil should be applied to the surface of the piston rod to prevent oxidation and corrosion.
